Everything you need to play.

How the factory works, how $GEAR works, and how to stay safe.

How to play

GEARWORKS is a cozy 3D factory you build and run in the browser. There are no fail states — just a line that's satisfying to grow and watch.

  1. Open the factory. Hit Play — no wallet, no install. You start with a small line already running.
  2. Build the line. Tap 🔧 Build, pick a machine, then tap a glowing tile to preview it (green = valid). Tap the tile again or hit ✓ Place to build. Rotate conveyors with ↻ Rotate before placing.
  3. Keep it powered. Generators make power. If you over-build, the line gently slows — no game over. Just add a generator to catch up.
  4. Ship for credits. Goods reach the shipping dock and sell for credits. Spend credits to expand your factory.
  5. Talk to the crew. Tap your HQ or worker quarters to chat with Boomy, Rivet, Volt and the gang.
  6. Earn & claim. Items drop as you play and at random events. Connect a wallet to save your factory and, at launch, claim items as $GEAR.

Controls: drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, Q/E (or the buttons) to rotate the view, R to rotate a conveyor, ⛏ Remove to bulldoze (50% refund).

How $GEAR works

The token isn't a sticker on a chart — the game is the utility. Supply is a flat 1,000,000,000 with no presale and no team allocation.

  • Play → earn. Running your factory and hitting events drops items (blueprints, gears, circuits and more) into your Vault.
  • Claim as $GEAR. At launch, Vault items can be claimed as $GEAR from a reward pool.
  • Pool is buyback-funded. A share of trading fees buys back $GEAR into the pool, backstopped early by a dev-buy reserve.
  • Hold to play. At launch, holding $GEAR unlocks play; the pre-launch demo is open to everyone.
